Hi there, I’m Jessica! With over five years of journalism and digital marketing experience, I’m passionate about shaping how we consume news—using storytelling to connect with communities, inspire change, and engage audiences in real time.
I currently serve as the Audience Engagement Training Manager at The Daily Californian and as a communications assistant for UC Berkeley’s Division of Social Sciences, and previously served as Head Audience Engagement Editor. My work has appeared in Ms. Magazine, The Stanford Daily, and YR Media.
I’ve also applied my skills to digital marketing campaigns, including Hodo’s tofu dip launch, creating visual materials that bring products to life and engage audiences. These experiences have reinforced my passion for connecting people to stories, ideas, and communities—whether through reporting, visual storytelling, or creative campaigns.
